Maya Viewport Integration

I worked on integrating U-Render into Maya together with Vanessa Schüller. Some highlights from that include:

  • Tracking and parsing scene data (meshes, lights, materials)
  • Full viewport integration supporting multiple synchronous viewports using Viewport 2.0 API
  • Custom material node that integrates into existing hypershade networks
  • Interactive material preview and matherial thumbnail rendering
  • Renderview and IPR support
  • Custom Rendersettings that update in real time
  • Colorspace handling using OpenColorIO
